USAID Learning Management System
(USAID EGAT NRM Office (Moodle) Learning Management System Officer Training Support)
This Online Learning Management System provides a web-based environment for delivering online courses, and managing virtual learning communities.
The courseware in this learning system is designed using sound constructivist pedagogical principles and has the ability to create syllabi, objectives, content modules, assignments, tests, and social course activities like blogs, wikis, forums, chats, news and calendars. It can also be used for group collaboration and project working groups.The Online Learning Management System is available to USAID Missions and Partners by request.
A set of nine courses have been developed by the USAID Global Sustainable Tourism Alliance (GSTA) Program to help better understand how tourism can be developed sustainably.
USAID Climate-Smart Agriculture/Best Management Practices (CSA/BMPs) Workshop
This workshop took place in Gracias, Honduras on November 3-7, 2014.
This training and knowledge exchange initiative was designed for USAID staff and Implementing Partners of Latin America and the Caribbean to share, define and document BMPs that focus on adaptation and risk reduction of climate change impacts on agriculture production while contributing to increase the sustainability of agricultural activities in the region.

SCALE – System-wide Collaborative Action for Livelihoods and the Environment — is an approach for broadening development impact. The Succeeding at SCALE Online Course is designed to give you an overview the SCALE methodology and insight into how it can impact your work as a development professional. By the end of this training you will be able to:
- Define what the SCALE methodology is and its five key steps
- Articulate how the methodology has been applied in USAID development projects
- Know where to go to access additional resources
Sustainable Tourism Online Learning Program
A set of nine courses have been developed by the USAID Global Sustainable Tourism Alliance (GSTA) Program to help better understand how tourism can be developed sustainably. The courses are offered free on a non academic credit basis. Participants may take these courses to build your own knowledge of the field of tourism and development.
